Commercial Biomass Partnership’s first fill

The first of the Eta Hack 199KW boilers is now up and running at Savage Cat Farm. A new crop of broiler chicks is going into the shed later this week. They will be the first to benefit from the fresh air and dry litter provided by the new system, which will run at better than 50% of the cost of the old oil-fired heating system. Savings will be in the region of £10,000 on this shed alone, over the course of a year. In addition, the RHI payments will bring in better than £20,000 per shed on top. Can you afford not to do it?
